Relax in our Cottage in the Heart of Picturesque Collioure on the Mediterranean
A delightful old fisherman's cottage which has recently been upgraded and is now furnished and equipped to a high standard. It is located just 50 metres from the beach, restaurants and bars.
Collioure itself is known as the gem of the Roussillon Coast and lies at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains on the edge of the Mediterranean.
The house which sleeps 4 people comfortably (5 maximum if sofa bed is used) is available all year round which will allow you to enjoy the 320 days of sunshine and the atmosphere of Collioure at any time. The layout briefly includes a kitchen with cooker, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher, separate sitting room with two sofas. TV (with access to English Television) and DVD player, bathroom with bath and shower over, one double bedroom and second bedroom with bunk beds. Outside there is a balcony with steps down to garden with wooden table and chairs which seats 6 people.
The town is full of history being flanked by a 13th Century Castle and Medieval Church. It was a favourite place for artists such as Matisse and Derain at the start of the 20th Century. Even today Collioure attracts artists from all over the world who come to capture the vivid colours and the fantastic light of the area.
